Nancy Goldstein, Principal Designer here at Light Positive, recently participated in a Design New England Design Salon event entitled “The New Kitchen: Multifuncational Heart of the Home”.  One of the panel’s points of discussion was the extension of the kitchen into outdoor living spaces.

At Light Positive, a cornerstone of our design philosophy is the seamless integration of interior and exterior spaces.  We take pride in bringing a home to life with the right lighting and our goal is to maximize our clients’ opportunities to enjoy their homes – both indoor and out.

With the thought of warmer weather approaching and gatherings moving outdoors, we pulled together this collection of fun and functional products we thought would help you enjoy your great outdoors a little longer into the summer evenings.

Light Cube and Light Box by Carpyen, can be used as additional seating or table space on a deck or in a garden.  Available in multiple colors in addition to white!

Halley Lights by Vibia are portable and will easily illuminate any outdoor space with comfortable, even light.  Dining “al Fresco” anyone?

If you’re planning a party and looking for casual seating and tables, these light-ups are the way to go.  Modoluce’s Atollo Collection of illuminated stools and tables provide a fun and elegant solution when grouped together in any exterior environment.

For a sophisticated look at your next gathering, Modoluce’s Atollino Happy Hour Collection is a must.  Available in a range of colors, these high top tables come with a flat top or with a center cutout that can be filled with ice to keep drinks cold.
