What do House Beautiful, HGTV and Yahoo! Homes have in common? They all know the importance of good lighting and how it enhances interior and exterior spaces!
Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed a few articles about how simple elements, such as lighting, can greatly improve the look and feel of your home.
House Beautiful‘s article “6 Designer Tricks to a More Comfortable Home” encourages you to “install soft, diffused lighting” along with offering comfortable seating and the importance of having the right pillows. One of our biggest tips to clients is to install dimmers for lighting fixtures. This allows you to set the mood you want for your space. A mixture of natural light and artificial light is another great tip to remember when you want to create an inviting space.

HGTV‘s Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright recently gave their advice in “7 Low Cost Tips for Backyard Upgrades“. Professional landscape lighting or simple twinkle lights both add something extra to an exterior space – mood lighting. The right lighting can create an inviting exterior space maximizing the opportunity for enjoyment. Click here to see some outdoor lighting products we recently highlighted for summer.
